—My wife's idea. We photograph the nature, when we were hiking – eventually my wife started to photograph people – finally our friend took us to photograph her wedding in Mexico – and this is how I started my journey with wedding photography.

—I don't feel like a photogenic person.

—moment, composition and light. You have to have those three elements in order to have perfect photo.

—Houdt u van reizen?
—Yes – I love traveling. So far I lived in three different countries and in two different continents. I was born in Poland, lived for 6 years in USA and finally moved to Canada, where I am living today.

—I am dealing, most of the time, with happiness and love during the day of wedding. I am in constant movement – meeting different people. The life looks like the box of chocolates – you never know what kind of clients you get :)

—Uncertainty of the future bookings.

—I am handle very well constructive criticism – criticism helps my development of being better photographer.

—I don't see that kind of things.

—Wat ziet u de toekomst van fotografie?
—Difficult to say – maybe the future will be screenshot from the video coverage. For sure there will be more and more competitiveness with the guests capturing the moments through their better and better phones and their ability to instantly share those photos on all social media platforms.

—In few hours the photographer needs to capture the story of love between the bride and groom, connection to their friends, and nurture of their parents.

—After working for some time in fashion photography and in the studio, the step to wedding photography was very natural. I've always enjoyed working with people, and being together with them on a special day gives what I need for capturing great shots.

—Light, composition, but especially feeling. A good photo has to make you laugh, to make you cry, to make you shiver, even hate it...but it can not leave you without reaction.

—You meet great people, you learn many things from them, you can watch them smile or cry when you show them the photos you've made.

—Very well. If it's well argummented, you can learn o lot from criticism.

—A bright one. The competition is going to be even higher, and competition means progress. In order to stay ahead, you have to constantly learn and reinvent yourself.

—In 2004 I got a digital camera for Christmas, back when digital cameras weren't attached to every device. I was facinated with how you could freeze time, and then view the past later. I couldn't set it down. A few years later I shot my first wedding, fell in love with it and 10 years later have shot over 200.

—Sometimes... If I've gotten enough sleep and have a glass of wine or two

—A moment. For sure. If it doesn't have this it's not worth remembering. After that, certainly lighting and composition go a long way.

—Absolutely. We have traveled all over the world taking photos!

—I love that every weekend I get to be a huge part of someone's "most important day of their life."

—I love it. As long as it is constructive it is one of the biggest gifts you can give to me.

—More and more instant gratification. A one month turn around average for a wedding will turn into a day.

—I've found that the energy I've wasted in the past on worrying about things was better spent on just doing what I was supposed anyway. No regrets. No fear.

—The father of the bride that has never cried in public before. The look on the groom's face when he sees his bride for the first time. The uncle that doesn't normally drink is dancing up a storm on the dance floor.
