Alverton Hotel Wedding

Jen & JP’s Alverton Hotel Micro Wedding took place on an autumnal day last year in the middle of a global pandemic. Their day was originally planned for the summer, but covid made them wait a little longer.I was invited to photograph their day and create memories that’ll last them a lifetime. They have also planned a second wedding day in late 2021 when big parties, dancing and hugging will be allowed again. And I will be there to capture it all again for them.They chose the Alverton as the venue is so striking, the Great Hall is straight out of a fairytale and they loved the grandeur of the rooms. The gardens are beautiful and with everything contained within the one venue, they didn’t have to worry about transport or the weather. For their Wedding Photography, Jen & JP were keen on a relaxed style with lots of natural photos of them and their guests enjoying themselves. They didn’t want to spend too long posing for photos but still capture the beauty of the venue and our outfits.
Jen said ‘Brian did this perfectly and the resulting photos looked straight out of a wedding magazine, we loved them. Even though we had a very intimate wedding Brian blended into the background and we didn’t notice him there and our family were blown away by the quality of the images and how he captured the feeling of the day.’
