When Jess reached out to me about her vow renewal, she emphasised that she and her partner wanted something stress-free and fun. They weren’t looking for a traditional ceremony with all the formalities but rather a celebration of their journey together. It turns out that the idea for the vow renewal was actually sparked by Jess’s dress—a bold and stylish choice that felt a little bit rock ‘n’ roll. With their vows done and dusted we headed over to Pont Neuf literally moments before sunset. From there – as per our itinerary that I had created based on Jess’s and Matheus’s fave aspects of Paris – we wandered along the banks of the Seine, capturing spontaneous moments filled with laughter and joy. We stopped for pizza and beer and wine and a perfectly synchronized finale with the Eiffel Tower sparkling in the distance.The whole experience was a reminder that a vow renewal doesn’t have to be traditional or overly structured—it can be whatever a couple wants it to be.
