—Bagaimana awal Anda masuk ke bidang fotografi?

—When I studied photo-design in Munich in 2007, one good friend of mine and photographer told me to try myself as wedding photographer. At that time, I have already photographed several weddings.

—Apa komponen terpenting dari foto yang baik menurut Anda?

—It's the specific view of the photographer, how he transfers the feelings and emotions.

—Anda suka bepergian?

—Yes, I do. Beside the wedding photography I also specified in the art photography. For those images I mostly travel and look for special moments and bizarre scenes. You can see my works here: www.juliasmirnova.com/

—Apa yang paling Anda suka tentang profesi Anda?

—I like the creative aspect, the independence.
I like to work and getting to know new people.

—Apa yang paling tidak Anda suka tentang profesi Anda?

—The heavy equipment ;)

—Bagaimana masa depan fotografi?

—I think, the presentation will get more interactive.
The emotional aspect of photography will be always very important.
The photographic language will be more and more important.
The photography will get more and more individualistic.

—Apa yang istimewa dengan genre fotografi kekhususan Anda?

—The photographer has to be prepared for any situation, and have to react very fast: you cat't repeat most of the moments.

—Bagaimana Anda menangani kritik?

—If it is a healthy criticism, then I think about the critics.

—Adakah tren dalam fotografi?

—Individualism is getting more and more important. (Some particular photographer with his own style).

—Apa yang seharusnya menjadi kriteria bagi pelanggan dalam memilih fotografer?

—First, it is the portfolio of the photographer.
The couple has to like the images and the style. Second is the personal aspect, when the couple meet the photographer.

—Hal-hal apa yang harus dihindari saat pemotretan?

—To talk on the phone with other clients.

—Detail apa yang umumnya lewat tanpa disadari yang tertangkap oleh fotografer?

—Moments and details

—Apa yang memengaruhi nilai sebuah foto? Apa saja elemen-elemennya?

—it's the emotional aspect, again ;)

—Siapa yang dapat menjadi simbol abad ke-21 menurut pendapat Anda?

—I think, those are happenings and not particular person

—Siapa yang ingin Anda jepret?

—interesting people with character

—Anda memiliki tabu profesi tertentu?

—In wedding photography: don't talk on the phone with other people/clients; don't drink (max. one prosecco or wine)

—Dengan siapa Anda ingin menjepret?

—I prefer to shoot alone, or to work with someone whom I know.

—Apa yang Anda khawatirkan, dan mengapa?

—I think sometimes about the mankind in general and where it will be in some years.

—Apa momen paling mengesankan dalam hidup Anda?

—There are many.
For example when I got the Munich Photography Award in 2013.

—I like the squirrel in Ace Age ;)

—The most inspirations I get from the world around me and everyday things.

—Bagaimana Anda mendefinisikan kesuksesan? Bagaimana Anda mengukurnya?

—For me success is when I'm recognized in my work, and when I reach y goals. When I'm satisfied with myself.

—Anda lebih senang disukai atau dihormati?

—The people who know me longer – both.
