There are many Wedding Ceremonies you should never turn an invite down to, I believe a Coptic Orthodox Christian Wedding should be on that list. To photograph such an occasion, was like a dream come true!The ceremony itself is symbolic and beautiful. Barbara & Daniel Candles, exchange of rings, anointing of oil and blessing of the crowns. Then there was lots of incense, dancing, the beating of drums and ululation (celebratory singing by women) all of which… I happily captured true emotions in Documentary style.Barbara and Daniel declared there love for each other at Virgin Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church.
