A&G's Victoria BC & Mystic Beach, Vancouver Island Elopement

A&G reached out just FOUR days before their elopement. They were so passionate about eloping, that they pulled the whole thing together in less than a week. I was thrilled to be their first choice for a photographer and to go on this incredible adventure with them. Their vision was to elope somewhere overlooking the ocean – coming from the prairies this was a must! They ultimately decided on Kitty Islet in Victoria for their ceremony, with a special request to do their photos at Mystic Beach, 1 hour and 30 mins drive away, plus a 40 min hike to the beach. A's dress was anything but traditional. A sparkly dark teal blue number, the dress was found it at a bridal shop just 3 days before their elopement. They flew into Victoria 2 days prior, and found their dream cake (raspberry and lemon) at Ruth and Dean bakery, and florals at a local shop downtown. This elopement gave me all the feels and their warm and connected personalities made this day that much more authentic. Getting to know them was a treat in itself, and these epic images were the icing on the cake.
