Congrats to Kathryn and Peter, a romantic summer wedding!

If this wedding looks like it danced right out of a heart warming movie it could be because Kathy loves the Sound of Music. Her beautiful gown with soft tulle looked like she was floating.The cathedral length veil along with her floral crown and long walk down St. Xavier’s aisle reminded me of the famous wedding scene. Every detail was just stunning. And Peter with his big grins all day – his happiness was infectious! He helped the guys with their bowties and had so much fun with the blue blocker sunglasses. When I asked the Bride about one of her favorite moments she said it was in the limo ride after the ceremony. “All stress was gone and I was sitting next to my new husband and all of my favorite people.” During the reception the couple impressed us with a swing dance to “I want to hold your hand” by the Beatles. Kathy also loved her dance with her dad. “We practiced so much and I think it went well.” You know when the white gloves come out there is something fun in store. They used the song when Maria and the Captain danced together! Peter jumped from his seat and the roar of the crowd went wild at the end! After the big events the dance floor was packed and everyone enjoyed the band. It was a wonderful day full of so much joy. Thanks to Kathy and Peter for trusting us to capture the story of their day.
