Mykonos. An elegant wedding in Mykonos is, for sure, a “must” option for couples who consider about getting married in Greece. And how couldn’t! Between so many picturesque Greek islands, Carl and Harriet chose Mykonos to be the one where they would tie the knot. Not only would they have the beautiful white n blue scenery as their background, but also they could organize the craziest wedding party with their best friends. After all, Mykonos is worldwide known as the Party island.
For these reasons, and not only, they booked a beautiful villa from the bluevillascollection , not very close to chora , so that they could keep their privacy. And so, their amazing wedding journey begun.
It is a fact that many couples are stressed up when organizing their Big day..especially when they live in a foreign country. However, Carl and Harriet were very calm and stress free from the very first time we e-met. Now that I’ve met them in person, I can say that they knew exactly what they wanted, and they made it.I have a feeling that reality over exceeded their expectations. And you know what, this is absolutely reasonable.
Greece. Mykonos. White houses. Blue sky. Bright sun. How could anything go wrong!
The couple got prepared at the same Villa. Harriet had fun while getting dressed, with her beloved sister and few good friends. She wore an incredible Hermione de Paula wedding gown and looked gorgeous. On the other hand, Carl chilled out in the pool with his besties enjoying the great weather and some cold champagne. Later on he got prepared with his groomsmen. Everything had been so easy going.
On the huge balcony of the villa, some wooden chairs and a flower arch was the best decoration for the ceremony. The sun was about to meet the sea and that was the perfect timing for these precious moments. Nothing more needed in such an amazing location.
Effortlessly beautiful, Harriet arrived handed by her beloved father and a Carl couldn’t hide his excitement. What was he thinking? That he was was the luckiest man in the world..?Probably!
Everything flew so, so beautifully..after exchanging their vows, Carl surprised everybody by giving to his bride a passionate , cinematic kiss! Oh, what a moment! The guests, enjoyed their cocktail in front of the most breathtaking Mykonian sunset while the newlyweds moved nearby to take some beautiful portraits with the famous windmills. Sunset photos and I can still feel the warmth of the light on my skin. Perfect ending for their big day, the craziest party with the craziest friends! Such beautiful and precious moments for a couple who travelled all the way from U.K. to this tiny Greek island. Moments that make you realize that you have made the right choice. And it feels so good to know that..In Mykonos, the island of winds, Carl and Harriet had the time of their life!
