The Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) have one of the richest and the most interesting wedding traditions in the world, though hardly ever spoken about! This summer I had one of the best weddings ever. Old Baltic wedding ceremony was so interesting and paid so many attention to the Mother nature and symbolism.
The groom and bride were riding on the horses at the wedding ceremony. A horse is a symbol of a diligence. After wedding we have visited the magical and magnificent Žažumbris oak tree. According to spouses, oak symbolizes strength, longevity and greatness.
We have finished a day with a bumpy metal concert on the lake shore.
