Dominique and George had to post-pone their wedding like many other couples. On what was supposed to be their wedding day they decided to have a commitment ceremony. As their wedding photographer I wanted to make the day more special by offering my services to the lovely couple. I can't wait till their wedding next year and to capture them as they become husband and wife. "I don’t even know where to begin, Melissa Hunter is not only an incredible photographer but also the kindest person! Melissa was supposed to be the photographer for my wedding a few weeks ago but with the pandemic we chose to postpone and only do a small “commitment ceremony” with our close family and friends and save the big party and actual wedding for next year. When I told Melissa about our decision and asked if she would be ok with us putting our deposit towards a new day next year she not only was completely ok with accommodating that but she even offered to come out to our small commitment ceremony that day for a few hours to capture some pictures at no extra charge. I had planned to just have people take pictures on their phones and I couldn’t believe she would offer to come out at no charge to make the day so much better. She emailed me many times checking in just offering her help and making sure all of the ceremony planning was going well. She has absolutely blown me away with the level of service she provided. I had many places refuse to give back deposits from the wedding and wouldn’t accommodate date changes so for her to do this for us was so incredible... Seriously so incredibly talented!
