—First and foremost – whom can you name as the best photographer in Hévíz, Hungary? :)

—Hehe... ha azt mondanám, hogy én, az elég nagyképűnek hangzana. :)) Szerintem nincs olyan, hogy legjobb. Vannak akiknek én vagyok a legjobb és vannak akiknek más lesz a legjobb. Mindenkinek nem lehetünk a legjobbak...It is funny, but would sound pretty show-off like if I would say ME :)) I do not think there is a best one in the town. For some people I am the best for sure but for others may not, and this is absolutely normal. We can not be the best photographer for everybody as we are all different with different taste, style and technique.

—Are you photogenic?

—Mások szerint igen, bár inkább a kamera kezelői oldalán szeretek lenni :)) Mindenesetre olyan nincs, hogy fotogén, legfeljebb valakinek nincs önbizalma. Mindenkiben van valami szép, a fotós feladata ezt megtalálni és megörökíteni...Since I already got comments from others that I am, I can bravely say, YES! :) I think there is nothing like not being photogenic, but having low self confidence. Everybody has a side that is attractive in some ways. It is true that sometimes it can be challenging, but a good photographer can find the photogenic side of the subject.

—How did you get in the photography industry?

—Egy fotós barátom kért meg, hogy segítsek neki az esküvőin. Aztán egy idő után megérett bennem az elhatározás, hogy ezt önállóan fogom csinálni.A photographer friend of mine asked me if I could help him. After the sixth projects working together I decided to start shooting my own weddings.

—What are the most important components of a good photo in your opinion?

—A pillanat megörökítése, amely visszahoz egy érzést, ízt, illatot, gondolatot... Azt szoktam mondani olyan ez, mintha egyszerre megvilágosodnál, amikor megnyomod a gombot. Vannak persze kompozíciós szabályok, próbálom elképzelni, hogy amit látok az jól nézne-e ki a falamon, de az igazán jó kép egyszerűen csak érzésből jön.Catching the right moment, that somewhat can bring back a piece of emotion, feeling, smell, taste, love... good composition, technically correct (good light, colors, sharpness, depth of field where it needs to be.) But in general, I always think after I am taking a shoot "would I put this picture on my wall?"... if not, then something was not perfect enough... :) The pest photo comes from a feeling, some kind of calm and infinite, selfless moment...

—Do you love traveling?

—Nagyon! Nagy N betűvel! :)I LOVE travelling with a capital L... :)

—What do you like most about your profession?

—Általánosságban kreatív embernek tartom magam és ezt a fotózásban ki tudom élni, de ami a legfontosabb, hogy a munkámmal másoknak is örömet tudok szerezni (nem úgy, mint pl. a parkolóellenőrök :)))).
"A változatosság gyönyörködtet", minden esküvő más, minden egyes alkalommal más érdekes emberekkel és szituációkkal találkozom, ami egyben kihívás és inspiráló is. Lesz egy pár sztorim mire nagypapi leszek... :DI can express my creativity, but most importantly, I can make people happy with my work (not like parking inspectors, who put parking tickets on cars that usually not making people happy :)).
The variety, meeting new, interesting people, new situations, new challenges. Every wedding is different. For sure I will have many stories to tell when I will be a grandpa... :D

—What do you like least about your profession?

—Amikor a fehéregyensúlyt kell beállítanom vagy levennem a herpeszt a menyasszonyról 4000 db fotón, az annyira nem kreatív és sokat kell hozzá ülnöm a gép előtt, de ezt is meg kell csinálni...When I have to adjust the white balance of 4000 images or have to retouch a herpes from the bride's mouth on all of them...

—What will be the future of photography?

—Bár a technika elég jól fejlődik, most már egy mobiltelefonnal is technikailag viszonylag jó kép készíthető, az anyag művészi kivitelezése, egy esküvő folyamatának követése (mikor, hol legyen a fotós, mi az ami fontos, hogy le legyen fényképezve), ezek nem helyettesíthetők egy jó géppel ezért fotósokra szerintem mindig is szükség lesz...The artistic view of a photographer. It can not be replaced by a machine so there will be always a need for a live person who does that...

—What is special in the photography genre you specialise at?

—Időről időre előfordul, hogy jóformán számodra teljesen idegen emberek szinte a családtagjukká fogadnak, a barátaiddá válnak egy fotózás alatt. Az összhang nagyon fontos ahhoz, hogy jó képek szülessenek.After some time, you become a part, a friend of a family who were completely strangers before. The better connection, energy flow you can maintain with your models, the better pictures you can take.

—How do you handle criticism?

—Szerintem azt senki sem szereti, de az építő jellegű kritikát mindenképpen fontos, hogy az ember megkapja és ennek megfelelően javítsa is a hibáit, hogy később ezzel ne legyen probléma.Nobody likes it, me neither, but if so, I will try to find a way how to fix it, how my work can be a better match to the requirements.

—Are there any trends in photography?

—2015 óta szerencsére újra egyre népszerűbb a fotózás (soha nem is volt egyébként ennyi önjelölt fotós sem, mint manapság) és hál' Istennek minden évben egyre többen keresnek meg esküvői fotózással.
Régebben a tradicionális formák, beállítások voltak a jellemzők, most már ez sokkal felszabadultabb, a fotózsurnaliszta stílus, vagy egyéb új formák, vintage, trash the dress és társai elterjedtebbek.Yes, since the year 2015 it is the popularity of photography is increasing and each year is better and better! :)
In addition the style of photography is changing as well. In the past, pre determined, traditional set ups were more common, now the photo journalist, free style is more popular.

—What should be the criteria for a customer to choose a photographer?

—Szerintem először a fotós referenciáit kell megnézni, aztán pedig az illető jellemét, hozzáállását. Az a jó, ha harmonikus kapcsolat alakítható ki a fotós és a pár között, akkor születnek a legjobb képek.First check the references of the photographer. If the quality and style matches with your expectations, then you take a look at the personality. The best if you have chemistry, harmony between you and the photographer. Then I guarantee, you will have much better photos, you will be more relaxed on the Big Day in front of the lens that otherwise is not very often happens with most of the people's everyday life.

—What things are to be avoided when shooting?

—A legnagyobb főbenjáró bűn ha valaki elveszti a fotókat az esküvő után. Ez nem fordulhat elő. A második legnagyobb hiba ha a fotós elfelejt elmenni az esküvőre. Általánosságban fontos, hogy ne tegyünk felesleges nyomást a párra, úgy is lesz elég izgulni valójuk a másik pedig, hogy itt nem a fotósról szól a történet, hanem a párról. A fotós úgy kell jelen legyen, mintha ott sem lenne. Persze vannak helyzetek, amikor instruálni kell a párt vagy a násznépet vagy meg kell teremteni az lehető legideálisabb feltételeket a fotózáshoz, de alapvető, hogy ez a tevékenység a lehető legkevésbé zavarja az eseményeket. Loosing the images because of technical faliure. Not being dedicated to the task. Expressing anger, negativity towards your model. Not being prepared with safety equipment (second camera, flashes batteries etc.) Leaving work before the contract determined (unless the couple agrees to it). I think the photographer should be there invisibly, not disturbing the events.

—What details that usually pass unnoticed can a photographer notice?

—Az esküvői fotós általában rutinból tudja mi, mikor következik, hogyan helyezkedjen, hogy a legjobb pontból lásson rá az eseményekre. Felkészülten, tartalék felszereléssel érkezik, benézi a fényeket a hely fotózás szempontjából kedvező adottságait és esetleg bemászik olyan helyekre is egy jó képért, ahova átlagember nem... :)We wedding photographers know what are those things that people usually want to see after the wedding and we remember, make sure it has been photographed. The photographer usually have that special permission (since he is hired to do the job) to go places where normal people never go (or do not even think about it) so he can have a better view. The camera is almost like a part of our body, I know what I should use for a certain task, I can "see" with my lens and it is different from what an average person with a cellphone is trying to get...

—What influences the value of a photo? What are its elements?

—Az igaziság és természetesség! Nincs mű-, kényszeredett mosoly (hacsak nem ez a cél), túltolt színek, kimosott baba arcok... hanem csak jól komponált képek, amelyeknek története van.If it is real and natural! No fake smiles, overretouched, flat, washed out faces, oversaturated colors... Well composed images that have stories to tell.

—What person can be the symbol of the 21st century in your opinion?

—Marilyn Manson... de jobb lenne ha inkább a Dalai Láma lenne az... :)Marilyn Manson... but I would be more happy if it was the Dalai Lama... :)

—Who do you want to take photos of?

—I am not sure what you meant here...

—Do you have any professional taboos?

—Nincs... Nope...

—Who would you like to shoot with?

—A Dalai Lámával :)With the Dalai Lama :)

—What do you worry about, and why?

—Az idő, abból mindig a legkevesebb van... Lehet, hogy rá kéne bíznom valakire a retusálási munkát? :DI never have enough time... Maybe I should hire someone for retouch work... :D

—What is the most impressive moment in your life?

—A megvilágosodás pillanata kép készítés közben...The time I experience selfless enlightement while taking a shoot...

—If you were a cartoon, book or movie character, who would you be and why?

—Z-Man. Az egyel jobb, mint az X-Man. Gyengébbek kedvért a Z, mint Zoltán... ;)Z-Man. It is one level higher than X-Man. In case you would not know Z comes from Zoltan... ;)

—Who inspires you in your life and why?

—Több szellemi tanító és harcművész... ezt elég hosszú lenne itt kifejteni.Many spiritual teachers and martial artists... this would be too long to express here.

—How do you define success? How do you measure it?

—Amikor boldog vagy, jól érzed magad a bőrödben és értékeled, hálás lehetsz azért amit Isten a rendelkezésedre bocsájtott.When you feel happy and can appreciate, grateful for what God has given you.

—Would you rather be liked or respected?

—A szeretet a legfontosabb, az magával hozza az elismerést is. Ezt nincs értelme különválasztani szerintem...Love is the most important that also brings appreciation. I would not separate the two, it doe snot make sense for me...

—What is the biggest mistake you have ever made at work?

—A 10 év alatt egyszer elfelejtettem elmenni egy esküvőre. A mai napig nagyon bánom és sajnos a pár nem fogadott el sem pénzt, sem egyéb kompenzációt így egy életre adósuk maradtam. A helyzet súlyosságát ugyan nem enyhíti, de tény, hogy csak egy egy órás ceremónia fotózás lett volna és ez egy szerdai napon volt. A pár nem hívott fel előtte, pedig mindig kérem, hogy legalább egy nappal az esemény előtt beszéljünk, egyeztessünk, hogy mindenki a helyén van-e, csak utólag, amikor már késő volt.In 10 years it happened once that I forgot to go to a wedding. It was a small one on a Wednesday and I already had a very tight schedule on that day and the couple did not even bother to call me, but 2 hours after the ceremony.
I always ask my clients to call a few days before just in case. Of course it does not take away my responsibility and I still feel terrible about it, but we are humans and can do mistakes. I offered the couple a free session, even money compensation but they refused them all

—When you're going to travel, what do you take with you and why?

—Fényképezőgép, laptop, telefon, bankkártya... :) Kell ennél több?My camera, laptop and credit cards... What else do you need anyways? :)

—Is there anything among your gadgets that you wish you haven't bought? Why?

—Nincs. Minden kacat megvásárlása előtt 2 hetet töltök a neten, mire kiválasztom a legjobbat... :DNope, but even if I had I already sold them (the 10-22mm wide angle lens I could not use with my Canon 5D so I had to sell it. but at that time I had only a Canon 20D, the 5D came later than my lens). I usually spend weeks on searching and finding the right product for my needs at the best possible option.

—How do you educate yourself to take better pictures?

—Pl. állandóan a MyWed-en lógok, figyelem mások munkáit, de rengeteg hasznos anyagot találni a Youtube-on is, néha eljutok egy-egy fotós tréningre vagy Fotós nyílt napra, és a fórumokon is találni jó fej kollégákat, akiktől lehet tanulni. Persze ami a legfontosabb az a kísérletezgetés. Minél többet próbálgatsz, fotózol, annál jobb.I am looking at my fellow photographer's work. I am a member of photography associations, I visit photo expos, attend online trainings, enroll photo competitions and we analyze each others photos with other photographers. I also make sure I have the best equipment that I can afford. To do professional work we need professional tools.

—Whose work has influenced you most as a photographer?

—McNally, Mike Wallace, Karl Taylor csak, hogy néhányat említsek, és itt a MyWed-en is nagyon jó képeket látni...McNally, Mike Wallace, Karl Taylor to name a few and many others even here on MyWed...

—What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?

—Jó lett volna ha előbb tudom, hogy ezzel is fogok foglalkozni, akkor már megteremtettem volna a fotózásom alapját Amerikában, amikor még ott éltem. Így utólag ez sokkal nehezebb, révén, hogy nagyok a távolságok, nagyon nehéz egy jó kapcsolati rendszert kiépíteni.I wish I knew earlier that I will do photography professionaly. I could have entered into the American market when I lived there for many years. Now, it is difficult to build something all the way from Hungary.

—What do you want to say with your photographs?

—Érzelmeket, igazi, őszinte pillanatokat bemutatni, inspirálni másokat...Feelings, true representation of a situation, a personality or inspire others...

—What motivates you to continue taking pictures?

—Szeretem a szépet... és az érzést, amikor ezt sikerül megörökíteni...I enjoy beauty... and the feel of enlightment when I think I caught it...

—Should your parents have been more or less strict?

—Szerintem teljesen rendben voltak! :)They were all right! :)

—If you could go back in time, what would you do differently?

—Hamarabb elkezdtem volna a saját testsúlyos edzéseket... :)Start street workout earlier... :)

—What about life on other planets?

—Vannak, az biztos, és tudnak is róla bizonyos kormányzati körök, csak nem kötik az orrunkra...There are for sure, they just do not want to tell us...

—Who are your heroes?

—Akik az életüket mások gyógyítására szánták...Those who devoted their life to heal other people...

—Who do you have no respect for?

—A politikusokat...Politicians... I did not know anyone who is honest (those are already killed)

—What do you do in your spare time?

—tánc (kubai salsa, szalontáncok), sportok (street workout, harcművészetek, úszás, futás), motorozás, olvasás, főzés, internet...dancing (cuban salsa, ballroom), sports (street workout, martial arts, swimming), motorcycle, reading, cooking, internet...

—What's the side of you that the public never sees?

—Szoftvermérnök vagyok egyébként és van egy jó pár weboldalam amit én készítettem és felügyelek. Nem mellesleg táncot is tanítok pár helyi szállodában a vendégeknek.I graduated as a software engineer, and have a websites farm. I also teach dancing in the nearby hotel and some of my wedding couples.

—When are you completely satisfied with your work?

—Amikor mindenki boldog. Amikor én is és a megrendelő is elégedett az anyag minőségével.When everybody is happy. When my client loves the photos and I am also happy what I have done...

—Do you believe in the traditional roles for men and women?

—igen. A férfi legyen férfi, a nő pedig nő és ne fordítva, de nem vagyok hímsoviniszta...yes. Man should be a man, woman should be a woman, but I am not a male chauvinist.

—Do you make friends easily?

—igen. 2446 ismerősöm van a Facebook-on éppen most, azt hiszem ez elárul valamit... :)yes. I have 2446 friends on Facebook, I think it gives you a hint... :)

—Where would you like to live?

—Nem tudom. Most épp nagyon jól érzem magam otthon Magyarországon, de Madisonban, Amerikában is jó volt.I do not know yet. I feel ok in Hungary right now, but I felt all right in Madison, WI as well.

—What's the stupidest thing you've ever agreed to do?

—Nem emlékszem semmire... :)))I do not remember anything... :)))

—Is there life after marriage?

—Biztosan... de erről még egyelőre nem tudok nyilatkozni... :))For sure... but I can not say anything, since I am not married yet... :))

—Do you have a favourite joke? Tell us.

—Van sok, de csak akkor jutnak eszembe ha társaságban vagyok.I have many... but it depends on the person which I would tell. Not every joke is funny for all.

—Do you like dogs or cats?

—Kutyákat...dogs...

—Who or what do you hate?

—Nem szokásom gyűlölni. Próbálom az energiámat nem negatív érzelmekre pazarolni vagy legalábbis minimalizálni, az élet túl rövid ahhoz, hogy elfecséreljük...Even though it is a natural feeling, I try not to waste energy on negativity. Life is short... I know a few people around me who were friends but later become crazy, but I do not have enemies as I know.

—The best thing in life is:

—Szeretet, egészség, boldogság...Love, health and happiness...

—The most annoying thing in life is:

—Hogy csak 24 óra egy nap és a test öregszik...Right now, the day is only 24 hours long and I am just getting older...

—Is there anything around you that you would like to change?

—Anyagi függetlenség, egészséges egyensúly a munka és a magánélet között, ez lenne a cél.Financial independence, healthy balance of living and work. At least, this would be my goal.

—What would you like to change in yourself?

—Szeretnék egyre jobb lenni, mindenben amit csinálok...I just want to be better on all kinds of ways...

—What would you like to change in the world?

—Világbéke! :)World Peace! :)

—Can you give a few tips for photographers who are just starting out?

—Dolgozz keményen és ne félj megvalósítani az álmaidat. Ne törjön le, hogy több ezer másik fotós is próbál szerencsét odakint, senki sem született fotósnak, a nulláról kezdte valamikor. Lásd a korlátaidat de próbáld meg túllépni őket, fejleszd magad, tanulmányozd a fotóidat, hogy lehetnének még jobbak és ne felejtkezz el a marketingről sem. Nincs lehetetlen!Work as hard as you can and do not be afraid to do what you imagine. Just because there are thousands of photographers out there, it does not mean you can not be good. Only you set the limits for yourself. Develop yourself, take a lot of photos and study them, learn how to market yourself. Impossible is nothing! :)

—If aliens come to the Earth and you are the first person they meet, what will you tell them?

—Hello, elviszel egy körre az űrhajóddal? :)Hi Buddy, can you take me for a ride on your space ship? :)

—If you are called to shoot a movie, what genre will it be?

—Kaland, sci-fi.Adventure, sci-fi.
