The Blessing

A Wedding Blessed by Sai Baba
Some weddings choose a hotel ballroom. This one chose a temple in a village called Puttaparthi, because for this couple, nothing else would do — they’d flown all the way from Australia just to be married in the presence of Sai Baba, seeking his blessing to begin their life together.
It opens with a moment only a village wedding could give you — the dogs and monkeys who call that temple home were there too, unbothered guests at a very important day.
The bride arrived in a humble autorickshaw, no grand entrance, just an honest, local one. The groom watched her come with that unguarded look grooms get, glancing at the time, waiting for the exact auspicious moment — and then his friends lifted him into the air, pure joy taking over.
The final frame closes the story where it began: Sai Baba himself, in the background, blessing the couple — the reason they crossed oceans to stand right there, in that small temple, in that village, to begin their forever.
