In September I spent a week with good friends on the beautiful island of Madeira, including my good friends Lisa and Henning. With them I planned a shooting on the island in advance. But we hadn’t quite chosen the location yet. The sun and the incredible landscape motivated us to go to the third highest mountain of the island – Pico do Arieiro. When we arrived on the mountain, we experienced the most beautiful sunset. There were hardly any people left and we had the place almost to ourselves. We could hardly get enough and shot photos until it was too dark.
