Ruth & Roger - Isla Pasión Wedding

Isla Pasión Cozumel, a paradisiacal place in the Mexican Caribbean, was chosen to fill Ruth and Roger’s wedding with magic and, also, my last job as a photographer prior to quarantine, an experience, without a doubt, unforgettable.Ruth, the bride, contacted me a year before such a special date by email, there we were able to meet and agree to capture the best memories of her wedding. An intimate wedding, because some relatives would come from Spain, where Roger the groom is , to the magnificent Island.For this adventure, Oscar Ortiz was in charge of the video coverage of the wedding and throughout our stay we had the support of our friend, fellow photographer Daniel Loeza. Our lighting and audio assistant for this wedding was Lalo, completing our team of four.Isla Pasión, a place full of magic, with a unique and different landscape than usual due to the presence of palm trees and pine trees, the latter planted by the original owner of the island. It is an odyssey to access this island, since to get to it you have to take a boat that leaves a remote place that is reached by crossing mangroves in a gap with great gullies, made us live a completely new experience outside of what we imagine, in addition to feeling immensely satisfied upon reaching this heavenly destination.We arrived a little before starting coverage to get to know the landscapes, we started with Ruth’s getting ready on the island, while Roger also finished getting ready at the Hotel Presidente Intercontinental. Shortly after, Daniel was able to cover the arrival of the groom and the guests on a catamaran.Ruth arrives at the ceremony site with her dad, where we were able to witness an emotional ceremony on the shore of the beach. Highlighting the love of the couple and the beauty of the island. Following the ceremony, we held the wedding session, taking advantage of the island’s landscapes, and the love that the photogenic couple transmits.With a beautiful sunset view, the bride and groom enjoyed a brunch and cocktails organized by the wedding planners of Isla Pasión Weddings and then continue with the wedding departing by catamaran to the party at the Hotel Presidente Intercontinental where they were received with a welcome cocktail.Enjoying the party and with emotional words from the couple we ended the coverage in a very fun disco room.At the end of the day we finished the wedding tired but very happy and satisfied, I definitely love the idea of returning to Isla Pasión in Cozumel to cover another wedding.Remember that it update daily my Instagram !follow me! @gabopreciado and on facebook as Gabo Preciado Fotografía.To find more stories about my job as a destination wedding photographer !read my blog¡Here I leave you a summary of Ruth and Roger’s wedding, feel free to share any image that you like!
