Makeup and Hair Stylists Creating Social Media Content on the Wedding

Do makeup and hair stylists in your country usually create their own social media content by filming or photographing over the photographer’s shoulder with a professional camera or phone?
Is this considered normal or not normal where you are?
Do you personally allow it?

Personally, they take their photos with their phone, but on their own — not over my shoulder. But yes, it's normal!!

I consider it normal. It’s also their work too that needs to be captured. I always let them know I will be sending them pics for their content though

I don't mind if they shoot content on the phone for themselves, but don't post it in front of the photographer or videographer, as it devalues the work of the whole team. It's one thing to take portraits during the preparation, but not the ceremony, dances or shots taken during the pair shooting. I think there should be respect and subordination.
