Elegant, Natural, and Deeply Personal

Hofgut Maisenburg in Hayingen is one of those places that makes you slow down the moment you arrive. Nature, space, elegance—and at the same time something deeply unforced. Perfect for couples who don’t want a show, but a setting where real connection can unfold. The day started exactly like that: calm, clear, without rush. The bride got ready in the wellness area, with that view into the green that instantly lowers your pulse. A few quiet minutes on the terrace. A breath. Arriving. The groom chose one of the holiday apartments—cozy, stylish, relaxed. Less nervous energy, more of that gentle “Okay… this is happening.”Before the ceremony, there was a moment that stays with you: the exchange of gifts. Not staged, but full of meaning. A Rolex—timeless, a symbol of commitment. And a Montblanc fountain pen that says something very personal: I see you. I know your taste. I know what matters to you.Around midday, guests gathered on the lawn behind the estate, overlooking the valley—one of those views that doesn’t need any extras. Warm sun, a few soft clouds, and an outdoor ceremony that felt light and honest: live music, heartfelt words, that beautiful mix of laughter and tears when people are truly moved.Afterwards, the courtyard invited everyone to a relaxed open-air reception: champagne, great conversations, delicious bites, that effortless buzz I love—because this is where the real encounters happen. Inside, the dinner setting was thoughtfully styled—elegant, warm and festive, with details you notice when you look closely, without the feeling of being overdesigned. In the early evening, the Maisenburg gave us that golden light it’s known for. We stepped out for a few portraits—not a long shoot, not a checklist, just a quiet moment for the two of them in the middle of it all – simply space to be yourselves. Those are often the images that end up meaning the most. Then it was back to the celebration. The classic first dance as a gentle starting signal—and suddenly the dance floor was full. Lightness, energy, hugs, that shift from elegant dinner to joyful party. If you’re getting married – I’ll be there in a calm, unobtrusive way, focused on what’s happening between you, and on the small scenes you won’t even notice on the day. If you want images that don’t feel like a wedding “program,” but like you: send me a message. Tell me when you’re getting married, what kind of day you’re planning—and what truly matters to you.
