Farhoud flew in to Istanbul from Canada. Mahtab flew in from Iran. It had been months, nearly a year since the last time they saw each other; and this time, it was to make it official. They were getting married in the historical city that connects Asia to Europe. Their excitement was palpable, and it was fitting that their parents were there to share this moment with them. We had been talking with them and arranging their shoot for over 2 months, so when we finally saw them, it was like meeting old friends. We shared two wonderful days together, where we had a pre-wedding shoot as well as documenting their official engagement ceremony. Mahtab and Farhoud became one of those couples that we will never forget.
