—There are different photographers for different tastes, therefore every couple can choose between different styles of photography.

—Kā tu nokļuvi fotogrāfijas jomā?

—First I was attracted to portraits, because I love people. Then, they asked me if I can do the wedding, and I did it. Since then, it became my full passion to document the weddings – all the joy, happy tears, all the emotions – everything in one place!

—Kuri, Tavuprāt, ir svarīgākie labas fotogrāfijas elementi?

—A lot of things – from light, composition, editing to emotions...

—Vai Tu mīli ceļošanu?

—I love travelling!

—Kas Tev vislabāk patīk savā profesijā?

—The whole process, from the first contact from the couple, discovering their story, through the wedding day, seeing all the joy and happiness, to the end, selecting and editing the photos.

—Kas Tavā profesijā Tev patīk vismazāk?

—Sometimes there might be moments of some discomfort in the process (like working on a really really hot day), but I always adjust, because I love my job much.

—Kas ir īpašs fotogrāfijas žanrā, kurā specializējies?

—I think it's more whole; one needs to know specifics of different style of the photography – fashion, food, landscape, documentary, night-long exposure photography ...

—Kā Tu uztver kritiku?

—Constructive criticism – I accept it with both hands. That's how I grow.

—Kādi ir kritēriji, kas klientam jāņem vērā, izvēloties fotogrāfu?

—Style of the photographer, of course and definitely the vibe they get from him/her. After all, the personality of the photographer defines his/her photos and they should resonates with the couple's perception of it.

—No kā fotogrāfējot būtu jāizvairās?

—Not putting a smiley face during photoshoot . ;)

—Ar ko Tu kopā vēlētos fotogrāfēt?

—Man Ray!

—Ja Tu būtu multfilmas, grāmatas vai filmas varonis, kurš tas būtu un kāpēc?

—Dorothy from Wizard of Oz! :)I like the journey she went through.

—Kas Tevi iedvesmo dzīvē un kāpēc?

—Every person I meet and intrigues my mind & soul.

—Kā Tu definētu veiksmi? Vai to var izmērīt?

—To go every day to sleep content with the day – with piece of a mind in your heart, knowing you have given the best of yourself to yourself and to the world.

—Vai Tev labāk patīk tikt mīlētam vai tikt cienītam?

—Respected.

—Kā Tu mācies, lai uzņemtu arvien labākas fotogrāfijas?

—Every day, with learning by doing, watching tutorials and a few times per year, going to a different workshops.

—Kas Tevi motivē turpināt uzņemt fotogrāfijas?

—Passion for people, passion for Life!

—Vai Tavi vecāki bija stringri vai netik stingri?

—They were perfect as they were. :)

—Ja Tu varētu ceļot atpakaļ laikā, ko Tu darītu savādāk?

—I would talk more with my mom.

—Cooking for friends, reading, doing sports, and sometimes indulging in idle pleasures, like watching the clouds, observing my cats playing, listening to the birds singing...

—Yes. :)

—Both.

—Labākā lieta dzīvē ir:

—... for every new day to give us 24 hours of immense possibilities.

—Mosquitos.

—Yes, environmental issues.

—Shoot. Shoot. And then again, shoot. It will pay off. :)
