There are some weddings that leave their mark on time. And the images captured by the lens, become landmarks on the map of our minds. Maybe, because those moments touched us a little bit more than the usual.
One such marriage, was that of Dionysis and Christina. A wonderful couple, we felt the right chemistry with, from the first contact we had. Which, is an important ingredient in the success of what we do. Because all this, is a beautiful collaboration, with two-way effort.
Our photographic journey began with them, at the pre wedding shooting, which took place along with Armin, the wonderful couple's Labrador. Through this photographs, the book of wishes was created. Passing to the wedding day – and having already built a beautiful relationship – they all went effortlessly and in a high mood. Their constant smiles illuminated our lens, from their preparations and ceremony, to the fabulous party where cheer and smile were son rich. A dedication ceremony, which resulted in a Dionysian celebration ...
Maybe, the highlight was the amazing next day shooting that took place in the beautiful island of Skyros. So many pictures of the Aegean environment and endless light, surrounded us. Day and night. With a mood that was more of a summer holiday. And where in the end, we were a company that shared these moments, while at the same time capturing them on the lens.
It is these weddings, these people, that make us worship what is work for others, but for us it is a great and deep love. Because participating in these magically unique moments, is a blessing. And their passage of time, is our contribution in the book of life ...Είναι κάποιοι γάμοι, που αφήνουν βαθειά το στίγμα τους μέσα στο χρόνο. Και οι εικόνες που έχει αποτυπώσει ο φακός, γίνονται landmarks του χάρτη του μυαλού μας. Ίσως, γιατί εκείνες οι στιγμές μας άγγιξαν κάπως παραπάνω από το συνηθισμένο.
Ένας τέτοιος γάμος, ήταν και αυτός του Διονύση και της Χριστίνας. Δύο υπέροχα παιδιά, που από την πρώτη επαφή μαζί τους, φάνηκε ότι υπάρχει χημεία. Η οποία, κακά τα ψέματα, είναι σημαντικό συστατικό στην επιτυχία αυτού που κάνουμε. Γιατί όλο αυτό, είναι μια όμορφη συνεργασία, με αμφίδρομη προσπάθεια.
Το φωτογραφικό ταξίδι, άρχισε μαζί τους με το pre wedding, που έγινε παρέα με τον Armin, το υπέροχο λαμπραντόρ των παιδιών. Μέσα από αυτή τη φωτογράφιση, δημιουργήθηκε και το βιβλίο ευχών. Περνώντας στην ημέρα του γάμου – και έχοντας ήδη χτίσει μία όμορφη σχέση -, όλα κύλησαν αβίαστα και με απογειωμένη διάθεση. Τα μόνιμα χαμόγελά τους φώτιζαν το φακό μας, από τις προετοιμασίες τους και το μυστήριο, μέχρι το καταπληκτικό πάρτυ, στο οποίο το κέφι και το χαμόγελο περίσσευαν. Μία κατανυκτική τελετή, που κατέληξε σε μια διονυσιακή γιορτή...
Το αποκορύφωμα, ήταν το καταπληκτικό διήμερο next day shooting, που έγινε στην πανέμορφη Σκύρο. Εικόνες του Αιγαίου και φως ατελείωτο. Μέρα και νύχτα. Με μια διάθεση, που θύμιζε πιο πολύ διακοπές. Και όπου τελικά, ήμασταν μια παρέα που μοιράστηκε αυτές τις στιγμές, ενώ παράλληλα τις αποτυπώναμε στο φακό.
Είναι αυτοί οι γάμοι, αυτοί οι άνθρωποι, που μας κάνουν να λατρεύουμε αυτό που για άλλους είναι δουλειά, για εμάς όμως είναι αγάπη μεγάλη. Και βαθειά. Γιατί η συμμετοχή σε αυτές τις μαγικά μοναδικές στιγμές, είναι ευλογία. Και το πέρασμά τους στο χρόνο, είναι η δική μας παρακαταθήκη στο βιβλίο της ζωής...
