A Bengali Wedding Story..

Every woman dreams of this "Big Day" – "Her Wedding Day" in her life and every parent tries their best to make her dream come true.Weddings bring out all possible kinds of emotions imaginable on earth.
Bengali weddings are an elaborate amalgamation of rituals, which are a beautiful visual treat filled with colours and merriment.Gearing up for the wedding, preparing for rituals, inviting the long list of guests, arranging the venue – there are thousands of memories which is merely impossible to note which indeed are filled with love, laughter and joy including a twist of some bittersweet memory at the end when the "Bride of Today" – "The Little Girl" born as a "Gift" to the family one day has to leave her family and move ahead on her new chapter of "LIFE" and accepting this "Moment of Truth" everyone present blesses the new "Couple" a lifetime of "Togetherness" filled with "Happiness" on their life ahead. Here I would like to bring to you certain emotions depicting a story circled out of some basic rituals and traditions that were a part of a Bengali wedding I have captured through my lens.
