Nicole + Doug: Edmonton Fox Drive Ravine

Nicole + Doug decided to do their formal photos with their wedding party before the official ceremony, so that they could go right into visiting and an early dinner with family and guests. I love doing formals beforehand to start the wedding day! I feel like things are less rushed for the bride and groom...and they don't have to worry as much about what their guests might do in between the ceremony and reception. We lucked out (since it's been a very rainy summer in Edmonton) with some beautiful mid day sunlight for these photos. Turns out it poured during the backyard ceremony just an hour or so after this. But rain on your wedding day is good luck as they say!
