Josh had just bought a house near Philadelphia, and Samantha had recently moved there from NYC — fate (and a good algorithm) brought them within range. Their first date? A Halloween dinner at a Mexican restaurant — the perfect start to a love story rooted in adventure, warmth, and a shared love of food. Over the years, their bond deepened through life’s highs and lows, grounded in their mutual love for family, friends, nature, and cooking. On their five-year anniversary, Josh proposed in the very spot where he first told Samantha he loved her.Seven years after that Halloween date, they said “I do” in Mexico — a meaningful destination, as it was also the location of their first international trip together to Tulum.
