Dance in the Rain (Summer Palace)
18 AprilBeijing, China
Two months ago, I had already scheduled a shooting session with clients from Canada. Little did I expect that it would rain on April 18th, the day when the shoot was supposed to take place. Initially, I thought the shoot would be canceled. However, to my surprise, the guests were still in high spirits and were not affected by the weather at all. Their enthusiasm was truly inspiring.Although we followed the regular shooting route, the Summer Palace in the light rain seemed to be filtered, exuding an extraordinary and delicate charm. The drizzle added a unique layer of beauty to the ancient architecture and the serene gardens, making the scenery even more captivating. We took photos at several iconic locations, including the Sida Bu Zhou , the Travle in Painting, and the Long Corridor. Each place presented its own distinct allure in the rain, creating a series of vivid and touching images.Through this shooting experience, I deeply felt that love is fearless. Despite the unforeseen weather conditions, the clients' love for the Summer Palace and their eagerness to capture beautiful memories together remained unshaken. It was this fearless love that made the shoot a great success and the resulting photos full of warmth and affection.
