Downtown Corpus Christi Wedding at The Art Museum of South Texas

With art playing such a huge role in both of their lives, Kathleen and David chose to host their wedding reception at the Art Museum of South Texas where they got engaged. Family and friends are important to them, but so was putting a focus on them and their love for each other so they chose to do a few things out of the ordinary on their wedding day in Corpus Christi Texas.Kathleen met David at the Art Museum of South Texas for a private vow exchange along the ocean. Afterwards we frolicked around the museum for some funky portraits. We then met all of their closest family and friends at The Nueces County Courthouse for a quick civil ceremony followed by family portraits. We hung back and took some cool portraits with the stunning architecture of the courthouse as a backdrop. Afterwards we went to their favorite local cocktail bar Bus for a post ceremony celebratory drink (just the three of us) and then some photo-ops around downtown Corpus Christi. Finally it was time for their reception at the beautiful seaside Elizabeth's at the Art Museum.Things that make their day stand out:• All the cool locations we visited around Corpus Christi

• Live painting during receptionI think their wedding really shows off how you can have the small elopement style courthouse wedding with a private vow exchange AND the big reception with all your friends and family if you want to. It doesn’t have to be either or and it doesn’t have to be boring!!
