Julie & Chris - Destination Wedding Hacienda Sac-Chich
7 March 2020Merida, Mexico
The magic and love of Julie and Chris completely enveloped everyone present at their wedding. Presenting a unique challenge for me as a Mexican destination photographer.I am taken by surprise by a message from Julie, the bride, just three weeks before her wedding asking about my availability to cover and capture such an important date. We certainly feel lucky when the only date we had available in March was exactly what she needed and also the fact that Julie and Chris liked my style and trusted in me for such an important celebration.Communicating exclusively in English, creating a new experience for me, since it was the first time that none of the bride and groom spoke Spanish, thanks to the help of Orlando, my internal collaborator, we were able to perfectly understand the couple and they to us before and during the wedding day. At this point we still did not have the pleasure of knowing the bride and groom physically, nor the size of the wedding, since until now our communication with them was through emails and text messages only.On the wedding day we started with some getting ready photos of Julie and Chris, where we were able to connect and thus create spontaneous moments full of happiness and smiles. Next, we perform the first look and their session, managing to get the best out of them, their expressions and capture the reflection of the great love they have. The wedding was held at the Hacienda Sac-Chich, a dream place, which was incredibly decorated by our friends from Raw Estudio Floral made especially for this intimate wedding where there were approximately 15 guests, all family and close friends, who traveled to our beloved Yucatan to witness and celebrate the celebration of the bride and groom. This wedding had Joe Bolanos as their wedding planner, whom I had the pleasure to meet.Julie and Chris celebrated their marriage with a Mayan ceremony, to later enjoy a cocktail and Apoala dinner with their guests at an intimate and long table, enlivened with live music, creating a warm and romantic evening accompanied by words full of feeling of the guests towards the bride and groom.I am very happy to have witnessed this wedding, in an organic vintage style, where invaluable moments for a lifetime could be captured.Remember that it update daily my Instagram !follow me! @gabopreciado and on facebook as Gabo Preciado Fotografía.To find more stories about my job as a destination wedding photographer !read my blog¡Here I leave you a summary of Julie and Chris’s wedding, feel free to share any image that you like!
