—First and foremost – whom can you name as the best photographer in Santorini, Greece? :)
—I cant reply to that unless you specify the style! The top is a flat space that many stand there.

—Are you photogenic?
—Under the right light all are photogenic! And so am I!

—How did you get in the photography industry?
—I am a pro since 1998 and I have been involved in all the fields fo photography besides war. I love life and weddings offer moment's that are unique! I also practise all I have done in one event and that is a chalenge!

—What are the most important components of a good photo in your opinion?
—Emotion, composition and light. If three are in harmony that is a good photograph.

—Do you love traveling?
—Yes I have travelled all arrounf Greece many times by car!

—What do you like most about your profession?
—It is chalenging and creative in order to reach a good picture!

—Bad behaviour from bad professionals in all the fields`

—Bright

—Emotions

—I listen and I filter it.

—I don;t believe in trends

—What should be the criteria for a customer to choose a photographer?
—The images of true reallife people and their heartbeat after the meeting.

—Too cheesy pictures

—What details that usually pass unnoticed can a photographer notice?
—The small things that make a picture great. The visual language takes many years to be a characteristic to someone who is creative.

—A scientist

—Pink Floyd or Metallica on stage. Klint Eastwood maybe, Monica Belucci, my family.

—No.

—Herb Ritts, Avedon , Newton, Eugene Smith if they ware alive.

—Taxes.

—What is the most impressive moment in your life?
—My daughters birth. I was there with my wife.

—Zorbas. He loved life.

—My daughters my wife and the morning light. Because they do.

—If you sleep easily and with clear mind and if you have balance. That is a measure I use.

—Respected.

—Trust before I see results. No I call it experience.

—When you're going to travel, what do you take with you and why?
—An open mind to fill with new experiences

—No. I use them all.

—I judge me hard and see pictures that I havent made.

—Andre Kertesz, Bresson, Avedon, Ritts etc, Cliff Mautner, Joe Mc Nally

—What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?
—That it is very important to listen.

—What do you want to say with your photographs?
—That everyone is unique and can shine

—What motivates you to continue taking pictures?
—The passion for the art of photography

—They did great

—If you could go back in time, what would you do differently?
—First of all you cant change your past.

—Socrates, Leonidas, Eugene Smith, Kertesz, My parents, my brother, Everyday people who practise what they preach. My wife. Scientists who work silently , artists

—All those who harm kids and people who are down!

—I meditate

—In my worst day I am good , but I am never 100% happy

—What's the stupidest thing you've ever agreed to do?
—Sing Karaoke in Greek to English people, and I was a disaster.. After that I sung Spice girls as a duet..

—Yes and can be happy

—Can you give a few tips for photographers who are just starting out?
—Listen, look, learn, practise , shoot, edit, look again study the masters of the craft go to museums. ( Repeat ) Dont care about the cameras too much

—If aliens come to the Earth and you are the first person they meet, what will you tell them?
—Hello motherfuckers! Smile please! ( and I would make a photo of them )

—If you are called to shoot a movie, what genre will it be?
—Documentary

—Tomorrow I will go and do...
—A sunrise shoot in Santorini of Fira, A family session with a new born in Imerovigli , a maternity session at Pyrgos. Shoot a few stuff for an eshop, edit for 3 hours in my studio and speak to clients, lunch break , arrange weeks programme, shoot a pool with a sunset in Santorini in Imerovigli and call my family and edit until midnight! Typical 22 of October. We dont have days – we have date's!
