  • Are you photogenic?

    Everyone is Photogenic and I am no exception.

  • How did you get in the photography industry?

    I am a mechanical engineer who started his career in software industry eventually found his love in the form of wedding photography.

  • What are the most important components of a good photo in your opinion?

    Light, composition & expressions!

  • Do you love traveling?

    I love travelling and have photographed weddings across India out of which destination weddings are my personal favorite!

  • What do you like most about your profession?

    Everything! Nothing can beat the feeling of creating something priceless for someone.

  • What do you like least about your profession?

    Will let you know as soon as I discover it!

  • What will be the future of photography?

    Future us definitely bright!
    With our clients getting more aware about this industry, they now know the importance of wedding photography and are ready to invest to get the best artist according to their taste.With the increase in the number of creative minds having access to these tools, we can definitely see some amazing imagery to be produced in the coming future!

  • What is special in the photography genre you specialise at?

    I just love to travel, make new friends & explore different cultures and this is why I enjoy being a wedding photographer!

  • How do you handle criticism?

    Criticism as an opportunity and I treat it as an opportunity to develop myself.

  • Are there any trends in photography?

    Well there is a big list as far as the wedding photography trends are concerned like Environmental portraits: Couple photos capturing the beauty of your wedding venue, Candid wedding group photos, photo booths and the list goes on but personally for me the essence remains the same and that is to capture the wedding story in most memorable way!

  • What should be the criteria for a customer to choose a photographer?

    It’s about choosing the ARTIST whose work appeals you the MOST! 1. Reach out to photographers only if you feel connected to their ART.
    2. Don't compare them with other photographers on the basis of secondary factors like number of images/ albums etc.
    3. Don’t forget to talk to them or meet them in person before concluding anything. At the end of the day, they would be the people whom you will be spending most of your wedding day with.. They are just a call away!

  • What things are to be avoided when shooting?

    Keep your phone on silent during your shoot. Give your clients your 100%

  • What details that usually pass unnoticed can a photographer notice?

    Moments between the moments!

  • What influences the value of a photo? What are its elements?

    People & their Emotions.

  • What person can be the symbol of the 21st century in your opinion?

    Can't think of one right now.

  • Who do you want to take photos of?

    Weddings across the globe having a mix of diverse cultures & traditions.

    Not that I am aware of..

    Wedding schedule & timelines as they are unpredictable.

  • What is the most impressive moment in your life?

    When I was awarded the NIKON Wedding Photography contest winner 2016!

    I love to be real :P

  • Who inspires you in your life and why?

    I personally feel that inspiration can be found anywhere but I get inspired the most when I see a happy & satisfied client.. It keeps me rolling!

  • How do you define success? How do you measure it?

    For me success is to come up with at least one iconic image in every shoot.

  • Would you rather be liked or respected?

    Liked

  • What is the biggest mistake you have ever made at work?

    I can't quantify a mistake as big or small and feel that every mistake is a learning opportunity.

  • When you're going to travel, what do you take with you and why?

    Camera, Laptop & phone. Yes I am a gadget freak and just can't live without these 3!

  • Is there anything among your gadgets that you wish you haven't bought? Why?

    Frankly, my answer is 'No' and the reason is that I do a lot of research and get hands on experience before investing. Be it camera, lens or anything I buy.

  • How do you educate yourself to take better pictures?

    I study photography and practice..practice..practice.
    My favorite educational blogs are Creative live, SLR lounge, Fstoppers.

  • Whose work has influenced you most as a photographer?

    Jerry Ghionis & Susan Stripling

  • What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?

    How to control lighting.

  • What do you want to say with your photographs?

    Stories!

  • What motivates you to continue taking pictures?

    I don't need a motivation to go out and shoot.. I just love it!

  • Should your parents have been more or less strict?

    They supported me in the way they should and I am thankful to them for that.

  • If you could go back in time, what would you do differently?

    I don't think I need to change anything.

    I want to be the first one to capture that ;-)

    All those photographers who are sharing their experience to evolve the photography community.

    Who don't give their 100%

    Travel and explore new places.

    When I make my clients happy with my work!

  • Can you give a few tips for photographers who are just starting out?

    1. Know your gear in and out. It should be your second nature.
    2. Learn the art of posing.
    3. Study lighting. It will make a huge difference in your art.
