—Are you photogenic?
—Well, I usually like to stay behind the camera but occasionally I love being in front of the camera too!

—How did you get in the photography industry?
—Like many other photographers, I started as a hobbyist and then I started buying some expensive gears. One day, my wife told me that I should do something about it... The rest is history!

—What are the most important components of a good photo in your opinion?
—Composition, lighting and storying-telling quality of the photographs!

—Do you love traveling?
—Of course, who doesn't? I recently visited Iceland, Scotland, England, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Greece, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti and many other amazing places!

—What do you like most about your profession?
—Being able to do what I love and also make people smile (or maybe cry?) when they see my photos!

—What do you like least about your profession?
—Editing photos? Just kidding! I actually do love editing wedding photos, just not all of them at the same time! ;)

—What will be the future of photography?
—We will be using smart drones for OCF, we will have nano light with 2,400 Watt-seconds power that can last a month without recharging and we will be shooting with ISO 429,4967,296 without any noticeable noise.Oh wait, can I just get iPhone 's battery that last the full day first?

—What is special in the photography genre you specialise at?
—Creating photographs that my clients will treasure for a very long long time.

—How do you handle criticism?
—gracefully, maybe? At least, I will try!

—Are there any trends in photography?
—I don't really follow trend, I just do what I love and hopefully my clients will love them do. There are a lot of light and airy images floating around Pinterest and Film Photographer seem to be the cool kids. I do love light and airy images as much as dark and dramatic images. While I used to spend significant amount of my time in the dark room processing black and white films, I am a practical guy and I don't think that film is practical and you can't really burst continuously to capture the moments using film!

—What should be the criteria for a customer to choose a photographer?
—Love his/her work, appreciate his/her approach to wedding photograph as well as evaluate whether you are the right fit for each other.

—What things are to be avoided when shooting?
—Another professional photographer that are not on my team.

—What details that usually pass unnoticed can a photographer notice?
—Subtle details, cool perspective and the moments that require careful planning to capture.

—What influences the value of a photo? What are its elements?
—Composition, lighting and story telling aspect of the photographs.

—What person can be the symbol of the 21st century in your opinion?

—Who do you want to shoot?
—Well, besides Kate Upton, I would say my clients who appreciate my art!

—Do you have any professional taboos?
—Hmm.. not really, I don't think so. I will try anything twice and I don't really have any professional taboos..

—Who would you like to shoot with?
—There are a lot of talents in the wedding industry but Folks from Two Mann Studios and Chrisman Studios are probably at the top of my list!

—What do you worry about, and why?
—Worry that I may not ever finish these questions in this interview? It's a lot of questions here!!!

—What is the most impressive moment in your life?
—There are a lot of simple moments that are impressive to me!

—If you were a cartoon, book or movie character, who would you be and why?
—Hmm.. tough one..Tony Stark maybe! He is a billionaire, genius, playboy and a philanthropist!

—Who inspires you in your life and why?
—A lot to mention here but in wedding photography world : Lanny and Erika Mann because they create awesome works!

—How do you define success? How do you measure it?
—When I can make my clients happy.How do I measure it?I usual know the feedback about my work through an email or a phone call from happy clients and the fact that they don't ask for refund!

—Would you rather be liked or respected?
—The much improved and better version of myself ?

—What is the biggest mistake you have ever made at work?
—I accidentally deleted the files from a memory card before transferring to my computer. Thankfully, I was able to recover it! Oh that and the fact that I ripped my pants one time while shooting a wedding!

—When you're going to travel, what do you take with you and why?
—I always find a reason to travel because I love traveling!

—Is there anything that you wish you hadn't bought among the gadgets that you own? Why?
—The fisheye EF 8-15mm, it's a fun lenses to use but I rarely use it!

—How do you educate yourself to take better pictures?
—Follow artists whose work I respect and get inspired, collaborate with other photographers and make a list of new ideas that I want to try and then actually try them!

—Whose work has influenced you most as a photographer?
—Chrisman Studios, Two Mann Studios and Fer Juaristi

—What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?
—That capturing the moments is more important than perfecting the lighting and composition.

—What do you want to say with your photographs?
—Not sure if there is particular message but I just want to create timeless story-telling photographs that my clients will cherish for the rest of their lives.

—What motivates you to continue taking pictures?
—The fact that my clients love them and the fact that I can inspire other fellow photographers.

—Should your parents have been more or less strict?
—Less for sure!

—If you could go back in time, what would you do differently?
—Not watch Jurassic Shark and get my 75 minutes of my life back!!!That and spent more of my time traveling and learning about various things!!

—What about life on other planets?
—Of course, there are lives out there if you ask me. I have always wondered what's life on Pluto like? Wait, Pluto is not a planet anymore, is it??

—Who are your heroes?
—My mom and my dad, of course!

—Who do you have no respect for?
—Inherently selfish people, greedy people who are willing to cause harms to the others by their actions and people who immediately judge others negatively without giving them a chance.

—What do you do in your spare time?
—Tennis, snowboarding, coding, hiking, biking, exercising, watching movies, reading books, cooking and traveling.

—What's the side of you that the public never sees?
—With enough alcohol, anything can happen with me but people rarely get to see it!

—When are you completely satisfied with your work?
—When my clients are completely satisfied with my work!

—Do you believe in the traditional roles for men and women?
—Men provide for women? Come on, it's 2015!

—Do you make friends easily?
—I am an easy-going guy and I make friends easily.

—Where would you like to live?
—If money is not an issue, I would probably say spring in the South Bay area, summer in Seattle, autumn in Vermont and winter in Jackson Hole!Outside the US, I will probably say Barcelona or Milan!

—What's the stupidest thing you've ever agreed to do?
—Why would I tell you??

—Is there life after marriage?
—Of course! I am still living happily!

—There are 10 kinds of people in this world, those who understand binary, and those who don’t.

—Dogs!

—Who or what do you hate?
—Myself when I lack motivation and procrastinate!

—Happiness when shared with someone you love!

—The most annoying thing in life is:
—Sickness

—Is there anything around you that you would like to change?
—Too many to mention here but among the top of my list is probably something related to the fact that we consume way too much energy and throw away way too much food.. especially here in the U.S.

—What would you like to change in yourself?
—Be healthier and be a better person

—What would you like to change in the world?
—I am just trying to change myself first! One step at a time!

—Can you give a few tips for photographers who are just starting out?
—Make sure that you do what you love and love what you do!

—If aliens come to the Earth and you are the first person they meet, what will you tell them?
—Take me with you! I want to see what's out there!

—If you are called to shoot a movie, what genre will it be?
—Sci-fi / Fantasy definitely!I am a big fan of Christopher Nolan, Guillermo del Toro, Vince Gilligan and Dan Harmon. I love Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. You will probably see some really epic fantasy saga with some really dark moments and some mind-bending twists from me!
