  • Are you photogenic?

    According to my mother Yes! = )

  • How did you get in the photography industry?

    I easily get bored in one genre in photography and wedding photography is the perfect venue for me to photograph various genre like portraits, landscapes, still life, photojournalism, glamour and fashion. Also one of the reason why I decided to pursue wedding photography is Jerry Ghionis. I attended one of his workshop here in Manila and from that very moment, I knew that this is what I want to do, left my corporate job and be one of the best wedding photographer in the planet.

  • What are the most important components of a good photo in your opinion?

    Good Lighting and the story to tell.

  • Do you love traveling?

    Definitely Yes.

  • What do you like most about your profession?

    An opportunity to be an eyewitness and the privelege to capture the story of the wedding couple.

  • What do you like least about your profession?

    Post Production. because we are still doing it ourselves. We are very hands on. From start to finish.

  • What will be the future of photography?

    Hopefully the wedding album production are still there and not relying only through digital files.

  • What is special in the photography genre you specialise at?

    Is it special because you can immortalize memories of Love and stories through your photographs.

  • How do you handle criticism?

    With a positive attitude and an open mind.

  • What should be the criteria for a customer to choose a photographer?

    They should be comfortable and at ease with their wedding photographer because no matter how good or popular that photographer maybe if they are rude and disrespectful it will just create bad vibes that can ruin the relationship on the day of the wedding.

  • What details that usually pass unnoticed can a photographer notice?

    Unseen details, beauty and story.

  • Who do you want to shoot?

    Beauty, relationships, details, story and of course LOVE.

  • Who would you like to shoot with?

    My Wife Ma-anne, because when we are together we are invincible...we are every where.

  • What do you worry about, and why?

    Nothing, we can shoot in any kind of environment and weather.

  • What is the most impressive moment in your life?

    The day I married my wife.

  • Who inspires you in your life and why?

    My Wife. Because she is my everything.

  • How do you define success? How do you measure it?

    For me success is to have a "Satisfied Mind. "

  • Would you rather be liked or respected?

    Respected.

  • When you're going to travel, what do you take with you and why?

    My camera. Why? Because it's a must. = )

  • Is there anything that you wish you hadn't bought among the gadgets that you own? Why?

    Buying a third party lens. Why? It's sucks.

  • How do you educate yourself to take better pictures?

    Be more observant, sensitive, instinctive and be a master of finding quality light .

  • Whose work has influenced you most as a photographer?

    Jerry Ghionis.

  • What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?

    Lighting is King.

  • What do you want to say with your photographs?

    Beauty and importance.

  • What motivates you to continue taking pictures?

    It's my passion at the same time it's my profession.

  • If you could go back in time, what would you do differently?

    I should start early in photography. I'm a late bloomer. = )

  • Is there life after marriage?

    Of course.

  • Can you give a few tips for photographers who are just starting out?

    Do it for Passion and love at first and everything will follows. There's no boring wedding couple only boring photographers. And the most important tip: Before you shoot a wedding, don't forget to remove your cap lens. = )

  • If you are called to shoot a movie, what genre will it be?

    Documentary
