  • Are you photogenic?

    sometimes :)

  • How did you get in the photography industry?

    was in 2008 when I moved to Playa del Carmen in México, I started to do family and engagement portraits, after that I start doing weeding photography.

  • What are the most important components of a good photo in your opinion?

    the history and the honesty in the picture.

  • Do you love traveling?

    I LOVE TRAVEL!!

  • What do you like most about your profession?

    the EMOTIONS, this profession is plenty, before and during the wedding day you capture a lot of passion, love, happiness and even some times a little bit of sadness and at the end when you see the emotions of the people looking their photos for the first time, that moment is priceless.

  • What do you like least about your profession?

    the paper work

  • What will be the future of photography?

    i hope that will be more human and closer

  • What is special in the photography genre you specialise at?

    the reality beyond the images and the stories.

  • How do you handle criticism?

    with patience, usually I´m very quiet about, I take critics for be better.

  • Are there any trends in photography?

    yes

  • What should be the criteria for a customer to choose a photographer?

    the style of the photographer, and as well the compatibility between they and the photographer as person

  • What things are to be avoided when shooting?

    not be yourself and copy somebody else.

  • What details that usually pass unnoticed can a photographer notice?

    feelings and emotions, compositions, details as textures and colors.

  • What influences the value of a photo? What are its elements?

    the complexity of the image I think, can be something with a lot of work behind like a nice set of lights or something "simple" like a contrast of lights and shadows.

  • What do you worry about, and why?

    about the information in the media, because has a lot of power and influences a lot in the people minds

  • What is the most impressive moment in your life?

    the birth of my daughter Emilia

  • If you were a cartoon, book or movie character, who would you be and why?

    Balu from the jungle book, because he has a very relax way to see the life.

  • Who inspires you in your life and why?

    My Dad, because he always taught me to be honest with my feelings and my way to think. And because he always encouraged me to do what I love.

  • How do you define success? How do you measure it?

    for me the success are different stages on life and I think every person has their own.

    I would say respected.

  • What is the biggest mistake you have ever made at work?

    confuse the bride with her sister

  • When you're going to travel, what do you take with you and why?

    my backpack because for me is useful than a roller bag, my camera with a 35mm because i always take with me, sunglasses and cap, and my sneakers because when i travel I walk a lot.

  • How do you educate yourself to take better pictures?

    I learn a lot observing the people in the normal life and the streets, I read and talk with another photographers.

  • Whose work has influenced you most as a photographer?

    I respect a lot the work of different photographers from different backgrounds, Steve McCurry, J Grant Brittain, Jeff Newsom, Anton Corbijn...

  • What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?

    about the accounting part.

  • What do you want to say with your photographs?

    I try to speak about life and passion.

  • What motivates you to continue taking pictures?

    capture moments and situations that never are going to repeat again

    no

  • If you could go back in time, what would you do differently?

    nothing

    why not

    for the criminals

    I spent time with my family, watch films and go out to walk a lot.

    usually I show my self as I am

    when the work shows a true history through my vision

    be patience, listen the people but not follow them, be your self and don´t do it this for the money.
