  • Are you photogenic?

    I hope these questions are getting better! :)


  • How did you get in the photography industry?

    I started experimenting with photography back in Sweden 20 years ago. 
When it comes to Weddings, I photographed a wedding for some friends back in 2008.
Then one thing led to another and I realized I enjoyed it a lot.

  • What are the most important components of a good photo in your opinion?

    Light, composition, and a captivating moment. The first two are the easiest to achieve. 
What’s most important is the connection with the subject, and to create something 
that will create an emotional response from the viewer.

  • Do you love traveling?

    Oh, yes!

  • What do you like most about your profession?

    Meeting new people, and to capture their uniqueness and story through images.

  • What do you like least about your profession?

    That I work alone a lot.

  • What will be the future of photography?

    I think more people will start Integrating sound and motion. 
You can create a lot more emotion by combining these elements together with still images.


  • What is special in the photography genre you specialise at?

    Weddings and portraits.

  • Are there any trends in photography?

    Yes, probably! However, I try to not follow any trends.


  • What should be the criteria for a customer to choose a photographer?

    To follow what resonates with them in the photographs. 


  • What things are to be avoided when shooting?

    Being selfish and taking photos for yourself, or that you think other people will like – instead of tapping into my client's needs and what's best for them.

  • What details that usually pass unnoticed can a photographer notice?

    Brief authentic moments, that someone with experience often can predict.


  • Who do you want to take photos of?

    Mooji.

  • Who would you like to shoot with?

    Alec Soth.

  • What do you worry about, and why?

    Not being good enough.

  • Would you rather be liked or respected?

    Respected.

  • When you're going to travel, what do you take with you and why?

    My noise canceling headphones and my Iphone.

  • How do you educate yourself to take better pictures?

    Trial and error by shooting a lot. Workshops from people I admire.


  • What motivates you to continue taking pictures?

    To tell better stories.

  • What about life on other planets?

    Yeah, that wouldn’t surprise me!

  • Who do you have no respect for?

    People mistreating animals.

  • What do you do in your spare time?

    Spending time in nature. Music production. Cooking.

  • When are you completely satisfied with your work?

    Haha! I don’t think that will ever happen!

  • Where would you like to live?

    I’m pretty happy in Spain but would love to spend more time back in Sweden.


  • Is there life after marriage?

    Yes.

  • Do you have a favourite joke? Tell us.

    I can’t remember jokes.


  • Do you like dogs or cats?

    I’m a dog lover. However, I have a cat who moved in with me. 


  • What would you like to change in the world?

    More respect for each individual and their choices.


  • Can you give a few tips for photographers who are just starting out?

    Learn from your favourite photographers. Network. Don’t be afraid to fail. 


  • If aliens come to the Earth and you are the first person they meet, what will you tell them?

    Tough question! First, I’d have a million questions for them!


  • If you are called to shoot a movie, what genre will it be?

    Without a doubt – Drama!
