Ellie & Louis met 5 years ago when working in a local restaurant, Louis was a chef and Ellie used to be a waitress there. They became great friends very quickly and Ellie even used to talk to Louis about boys! However after a little while they ended up dating. When Louis proposed it was very unexpected, Ellie was in the middle of dying her hair!I met up with them both a few times, and during their engagement shoot I could tell how sweet they were together, I hardly had to prompt them!The wedding followed in a similar affair, full of love and laugher. You can definitely tell the love these two have for each other. They said their I Dos at the Pear Tree Inn in Smite, Worcester. Followed by their reception downstairs.Ellie got ready in one of the hotel rooms, with her two beautiful bridesmaids and mum! Her tummy was turning with nerves as she had her hair and makeup done. However she knew as soon as she saw Louis she would be fine! She looked stunning in her Mori Lee dress and Louis scrubbed up well in his suit from Slaters. As Ellie's Dad came into the room the tears started to fall, there wasnt a dry eye in the room, even me! They linked arm in arm and they walked down the isle to meet Louis with a beaming smile. Ellie said that this was her favourite moment of the entire wedding. "My favorite moment was seeing Louis for the first time, after that everything else was perfect."They sealed their marriage with a kiss before walking through the confetti and joining their guests for the drinks reception. The rest of the day was so chilled, the kids were playing lawn games, a magician circled the tables leaving everyone speechless and I whisked the newly weds away for some gorgeous photographs. They began the evening with a father daugher dance, before Louis took his wifes hand for their first dance. Everyone soon joined in and the evening continued in a similar fashion. -- What's one piece of advice you would give to other couples planning their own wedding?There’s so much planning involved, and then it is over before you know it. Take a walk with your husband, take it all in and enjoy every minute.-- What photography-related advice would you offer to other couples?Firstly, pay the extra for a 2nd photographer, best thing we ever did. Best way to capture your big day, at every angle.
Have an engagement shoot, this really helps, not only does it give you an example of what to expect on your big day. It gives you more experience being behind a camera. We never have photo’s together; we didn’t think we were very photogenic. During our shoot, Laura honestly made us feel so beautiful, we cannot describe it. Once we received the wedding photos, we sat down and watched the slideshow of all 906 photos. Throughout, we had no words, we felt like we were reliving the day again. Louis couldn’t help but cry and said “I’m just so happy” (cutest thing I have ever seen).-- How was your experience taking photos with Laura Jayne Photographer on your wedding day?Working with Laura Jayne was an absolute breeze. No problems at all. Everyone said she put everyone at ease, throughout the whole day and night everyone felt relaxed.
Laura is so down to earth and so passionate about her work. I love the natural photo’s; you don’t feel like anything is staged. Not only have we found a photographer for life, we have also found a friend for life. (Cheesy but true) Thank you for making our day so special.
