Portscatho Wedding, Cornwall

Liz & Nathan were married last autumn at St Gerrans Church and celebrated at the Harbour Club, both in the beautiful village of Portscatho in Cornwall.Eight years earlier they met through a mutual friend, Henry (who was Nathan’s best man). Nathan & Henry had played together in bands for years, and Liz went along to one of Henry’s gigs. Although Liz said at the time that she wasn’t interested in meeting anyone at the time, Henry introduced them and they’ve been together ever since.The decision to get married was only a few months before the day and with a love and family ties to the village, Portscatho was the only place to go.Looking back, Liz & Nathan said one of the highlights from the day was everyone walking down from the Church to the Harbour Club. They had just got married and everyone was beaming and joyful! It felt so relaxed, and unfussy which is very much what they wanted.
The weather forecast for the day had been pretty terrible, but as they left the church the clouds had parted, Gerrans bay looked wonderful and we got some fantastic shots outside.
