A Midsummer’s Love Feast A fiery, nomadic-spirited feminist activist from New York, and a gentle globetrotting political scientist from Puglia, Emily and Vito had to travel the entire world to finally find each other in Brussels, Belgium. A non-traditional couple with a shared passion for exploration, social justice, creative expression and fantastic food, they wanted a wedding that was reflected the wild, free-spirited life and love they share. Having abandoned early childhood dreams of a career in design to pursue her passion for women’s rights professionally, Emily was thrilled to pour her creative energy into designing and curating the couple’s dream wedding… an effort that took two years and took the couple around the world on a search to customize every detail. Inspired by the lush, dreamy aesthetic of a Midsummer’s Night Dream, a love of vintage and bohemian styles, and the breathtaking landscape of the Southern Italian countryside, the couple’s goal was to create an event that reflected their values and highlighted Puglian culture, while transporting their international guests into a moment of surreal, fairytale magic.”
