Dublin Registry Office Weddings

Many couples ask me if it is worth taking photographs during such a short ceremony at Dublin Registry Office. My answer is always: YES ! Yes, it's totally worth it. I have photographed many wedding ceremonies at Dublin Registry Office over the last decade and I have managed to create a fantastic budget friendly solution to create wonderful images for you. So, how does it work? I offer several options to choose from. The most popular option is 3 hour photography coverage for as little as 450 Euro (150 Euro per hour: Monday- Thursday) and 525 Euro (175 Euro per hour on Fridays). So, how does it typically look like ? I meet you outside Dublin Registry Office half an hour before the ceremony and start taking photographs of your guests arriving. Sometimes couples choose to start their celebrations at The Storyteller Pub which is literally less than 1 minute away (less than a minute walking! ) from Dublin Registry Office, so we start there, it can be half an hour or an hour before the actual ceremony, totally up to you ! The pub is fantastic and their Pint of Guinness has the best reputation in Dublin ! Totally worth doing that! I always take lovely candid photos of the couple enjoying their time with their guests. We sometimes take photos outside as well, there are some great spots that are awesome for photos and it only takes literally 3 minutes to have the photos done and you can be back in the pub enjoying your gorgeous pint of Guinness with your family and friends! :) Then it's ceremony time ! Ceremony itself is short and sweet. Everybody at Dublin Registry Office is very helpful and very friendly ! It's absolutely stress free ceremony and all wedding solemnisers are warm and they guide you throughout entire process, so you're always in good hands. You can choose to have some readings or personalised vows to make your ceremony slightly longer. After ceremony it's time for photos ! There is not much green space outside Dublin Registry Office, so I always suggest a 2 minute stroll to nearby canal which is ideal to take family and guests images. Then when it's done. I'd take you for photos in various locations around the city like Merrion Square, Dame Lane, Temple Bar, etc or whichever location is chosen by you. Some couples have their special spots in the town and I'm always very happy to discover these places. It takes approx 1 hour. Then I photograph approx half an hour of reception. And 3 hours are gone ! And you have lovely memories captured you can cherish forever :)It's also possible to book 2 hours instead of 3 if there is no reception afterwards or if it suits you better. The fee for that is 350 Euro. I usually reserve this option for Monday- Thursday weddings as Fridays are usually very busy and I would take then minimum of 3 hour bookings. You will have your photos ready within 3 weeks after the wedding day, you will get a link to sharable folder where you can download and share your photos. So, all very easy and very simple ! I'm very chilled and easy to work with as well ! :)
