to me, it just feels wrong to use flash during the ceremony. ISO 25.600 is no problem anymore – but that's just me, what counts is that your couple is happy.

Yes, I agree! I usually don’t use flash in churches either. But at my previous wedding in that church, the bride got some panda shadows under eyes because of the angle of the lamps in that place. So I tried using flash for the first time during the ceremony. 😊

panda shadows (or the lights causing them) are the devil's deed – however I'd prefer them over flash in a church. 🙃 If really asked for by the couple, then OCF with a grid.
