A late summer wedding in Opatija, Croatia

It was a gorgeous September here in Croatia with summer temperatures and gorgeous weather. When I woke up in the morning there wasn't a single cloud in the sky and it was just perfect for photographing the wedding of Renata and Ognjen. As we got the getting ready shots done, the ceremony was a blast with the priest telling various jokes about male-female relationship so the hour long ceremony went quickly by. While the guests relaxed at the pool for the cocktail hour we took some time to create gorgeous portraits just after sunset to get that amazing soft light and the beautiful dark blue sky, the one you get just for 15-20 minutes before it gets completely dark. As we entered the gorgeous ballroom at the Remisens Ambassador Hotel in Opatija the party started and it lasted long into the night with beautiful lightning effects that complimented our photos perfectly. #croatia
