To be honest, I waited 8 years for this shot, out of over 150 weddings I shot, most of the groom does not get this emotional and even when they do, the tears would just leave a small vertical mark on their faces. I am so proud to capture the dropping tear in the middle of the air as this takes experience to predict when the groom is going to cry, standing at the right place, capture it at the right time, etc. This is why I love wedding photography, I always surprise myself on my improvement every single year.
