—The best wedding photographer in Hong Kong... Hmm that's a tough question. There are so many different styles in the wedding photography community and I have to say that KC is my inspiration.

—Você é fotogénica(o)?

—I'd like to think so.

—Como se iniciou na indústria da fotografia?

—I started shooting fashion and contemporary design shows. It was a great way to start as wedding photographer as it introduced me to photography and capturing people.I quickly moved into advertising and marketing before forming Jeremy Wong Weddings. Now one of Hong Kong's top wedding photography studio.

—Em sua opinião, quais são os componentes mais importantes para uma boa fotografia?

—The story.

—Gosta de viajar?

—I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world capturing pre weddings. From Bali to the Cotswolds my travel has allowed me to meet many wonderful couples and photograph in some of the worlds most amazing locations.

—O que mais gosta na sua profissão?

—Meeting new people and telling their wedding story.

—O que menos gosta na sua profissão?

—The Hong Kong heat during a busy wedding day.

—Qual será o futuro da fotografia?

—With cameras getting better and better I believe that guests are the future of wedding photography. In my opinion it will come a point when a couple books a professional photography studio like JWW purely for the photoshoot. While anyone can take a decent photo, capturing the perfect photo at the perfect time will ever remain a skillset.

—O que há de especial para si, no género de fotografia em que se especializou?

—Capturing moments that will live on forever.

—Como lida com as críticas?

—Of course. Without criticism you will never become a better wedding photographer.

—Existem tendências na fotografia?

—Trends come and go however the principle philosophy of capturing photos that our couples love will remain forever.

—Quais deveriam ser os critérios considerados pelo cliente na escolha de um fotógrafo?

—Do they like the portfolio.

—O que não é permitido de todo ao fotografar?

—Over shooting. Take your time and capture the perfect shot. One amazing photo will live longer in the memory that 1000 bad ones.

—Que detalhes passam habitualmente despercebidos mas nos quais um fotógrafo repara?

—The big picture. In our opinion the guest should enjoy a wedding. Its the skill of the photographer to see the bigger picture.

—O que influencia o valor da foto? Quais são os seus elementos?

—The people. The moment. The timing.

—Na sua opinião, que pessoa poderá ser o símbolo do século XXI?

—Elon Musk.

—O quem pretende fotografar?

—The Royals.

—Tem tabus profissionais?

—Not really. Be professional. Take good photos and the couple will love you.

—Com quem gostaria de fotografar?

—Jonas Peterson. Changed the wedding industry IMO.

—Com que se preocupa e porquê?

—My studio has shot hundreds if not thousands of weddings. Every single time we deliver a wedding to a couple there is always that tiny moment of hesitation. Will they like the photos???1000 weddings, 1000 happy couples.

—Qual foi o momento mais impressionante na sua vida?

—Working for Danny Boyle during the London 2012 opening ceremony.

—Pikachu. Absolutely no idea why. I just love him.

—Quem o inspira na sua vida e porquê?

—Family, Friends, Brides, Grooms, People who live life to the fullest.

—Como define o sucesso? Como o afere?

—Providing for your family. Living for your family.

—Gostaria mais de ser amado ou respeitado?

—Respected.

—Qual foi o maior erro que já cometeu a nível profissional?

—Thinking I could do everything by myself and in turn, not putting my trust in people.

—Quando vai viajar, o que leva consigo e porquê?

—Camera. Speaks for itself.

—In car phone holder. Found out my car already had one.

—Research research research. Oh and Mike and Tom.

—The couple is the most important person. Please your couples and you will live happy.

—O que pretende transmitir com as suas fotos?

—I don't want to say anything. I just want our clients to love their images.

—O que o motiva a continuar a fotografar?

—Our couples. The reaction on a brides face when we present her pre wedding shoot is priceless.

—Os seus pais deveriam ter sido mais ou menos rigorosos?

—Ask me. Less. Ask them. More. They are probably right.

—Become a wedding photographer sooner.

—Got to be. Elon will find.

—Watch films and travel. Planning locations is also fun.

—Stressed. I like to remain as composed as possible at all times.

—I believe you should do what makes you happy without making other people unhappy.

—Work for free. Not every time.
