Great idea. I think I would have needed hours to get this shot. Never had the patience for such things. Has almost something meditative like these stapled zen stones.

exactly, I lack the patience and normally find more interesting motives as well. But here I had plenty of time during the preparations, this is the only staged detail shot I've done – we were all laughing about my desperation to balance those damn rings.
