Agadir, Marokko
Interview
-
—There are a lot of really great upcoming photographers in Agadir! It really is a beautiful place for a photographer to grow! But as far as who is the best, I'd rather not say, so not to offend!
-
—Bent u fotogeniek?
—Depends on who takes the photo! hahaha! My wife does a great job of making me look good!
-
—Hoe bent u beland in de fotografie-industrie?
—I started out more of a commercial photographer, and a wedding planner friend asked me to capture the events of one of her clients. I agreed and loved it! The bride and groom also loved the photos and from there I decided to put more emphasis on the wedding photography industry! It's been an absolute joy capturing the love stories of those we now consider good friends!
-
—Light, composition, and a little something out of the box. With every photo I like to try and capture something unique that tells a story, however staying true to my style!
-
—Houdt u van reizen?
—Love traveling! It's so much fun to explore a new place!
-
—I would say the relationships that I develop with the couple before, during and after the wedding is what brings me so much joy. I love being able to be at their wedding and celebrate their love story! I feel honored to capture that through my camera and preserve those special memories.
-
—I'm not a big administration person, but even in this I have learned how to deal with the business side of things and can find joy in that.
-
—Wat ziet u de toekomst van fotografie?
—Robots. All Robots. Some guy in the corner controlling the robots. It will be lame. For me, I will always take the personal approach, it's what I love about my job!
-
—Again, I think it's the relationship. It's so key. If I can help a bride and groom relax and not be stressed about the photography on the day of their wedding, then they can just have fun and enjoy their special day. I believe that this comes by getting to know our couples, learn what makes them laugh and hear their story. Not being in the way of their way and upsetting a special moment, but rather being apart of the day and capturing it.
-
—Hoe gaat u om met kritiek?
—No one likes criticism if they are not looking for it. But if you take an approach of criticism being a way to learn and grow then it's welcomed. I often will seek out criticism so that my couples can continue receiving the best!
-
—I think a couple should really look at a photographers style. If they like their style that is a good starting point. Sometimes photographers have a lot of different styles which can be ok, but then the expectations of a couple of what their photos will look like is a bit shakey. I think reliability and professionalism are also huge.
-
—ruining the moment by jumping in the middle of something special and start directing the couple what to do.
-
—Wie wil u graag fotograferen?
—Your love story!
-
—Met wie zou u graag fotograferen?
—I love taking photos with my wife! She comes on all our shoots and is absolutely fantastic! She's super great at relating with the couples and has such a creative eye!
-
—Practice! Trying different approaches, using different lighting setups, using different tools. Trying to not get stuck in a routine is huge. Always pushing myself to get better and better, to get faster and faster. To help the couple relax more and more.
-
—Twomann Photography, Adam Johnson (ARJ Photography)
-
—Every couple has a different love story and that is what I want to capture, and help to preserve. But for my style I love to be bold and beautiful. Lots of colour, contrast, and emotion!
-
—The pursuit of creation! I love to create! I also have an equal passion for being with people. So developing new relationships and creating beautiful images is the perfect combination
-

—I love to work with wood, and creating projects around my house.
-

—Often times yes, but I still want to push myself further!
