Colour, samba, and a schnauzer in a bow tieAlice & Max’s day was bold, personal, and totally them – from the moment they walked up Bristol’s iconic Christmas Steps to the very last beat on the dancefloor.They were married at The Mount Without, a unique, atmospheric venue tucked in the heart of Bristol – all stained glass, soaring ceilings, and crypt-level coolness (literally). It was our first time shooting here, and yep, we’re officially obsessed.Alice wore a floral Dig for Victory dress, Max rocked a tailored suit, and their schnauzer Judy? She walked the aisle in a matching outfit as ring bearer. Icon.The ceremony was full of meaning – the couple’s friends walked in holding ribbons, which were later gathered into the knot Alice & Max tied together. A lovely twist on tradition, making space for everyone in the moment.Afterward, things got loud – in the best way. Alice, a member of the Bristol Samba band, performed mid-reception (with Max joining in on drums), and from there the dancefloor basically exploded.Everything was DIY: cakes, décor, florals, even home-grown succulent favours. A day built from scratch with love, colour, and just the right amount of chaos.
