Gaby & Stuart's destination wedding in a 17th- Century Italian Villa in Verona, Italy.

I’ve known Gaby and Stuart for quite some time now, so naturally, I was delighted to be asked to capture their wedding and even better they decided on a destination wedding! Gaby has Italian roots through her father, so it was no surprise they would be looking for venues in Italy. Villa Zambonina is a gorgeous 17th-century Palladian villa, set on a farming estate near the city of Verona and would be the perfect place to celebrate this awesome couple and their commitment to each other. The day started off in typical fashion, albeit beginning slightly later in the day due to the heat factor. Gaby and her girls had a blast together during hair and makeup, before slipping into their stunning dresses and finishing off some champagne! Gaby was in the most amazing gown by Halfpenny London and her shoes were Aquazzura. The Dannijo jewellery really was the glamorous cherry on top to complete the look. Absolutely beautiful bride!Stuart and his boys looked absolutely awesome in their Charles Tyrwhitt suits. I loved hanging out with the guys as they were getting ready helping each other tying ties and clipping cufflinks. The boy's cufflinks and the couple's rings were all by local Edinburgh Jeweller, Goodwins, very classy indeed!Sadly, Gaby's father was not able to make the trip from Scotland due to health reasons, so her brother Pietro, was immensely honoured to walk his sister down the aisle! The ceremony was beautiful and touching, a close friends and family affair that drew tears and laughs throughout. Fortunately, for all of their guests who are baking under the late afternoon sun, the ceremony was short but sweet!Following the ceremony, we were treated to a beautiful aperitvo, with canapés, and champagne before I took Gaby & Stuart away for some portraits. The textures and colours of the Villa were just perfect, we got some awesome, relaxed and fun shots before heading over for the meal. The day was beautifully arranged by the awesome team of Marta & Cristiana from More Than Weddings. Just check out those gorgeous flowers by Floricoltura Bosco on the long dining table. Amazing!Emotional and hilarious speeches with amazing food were enjoyed before a rather crazy cutting of the cake and champagne getting sprayed everywhere – thanks, Stuart!! Then it was on to the party by the pool! The evening was brilliant with everyone partying on until the early hours with cocktails Cuban cigars some terrible dancing (including me) and accidental swims! What a truly unbelievable wedding and an absolute joy to be a part of.
