—Was macht Ihrer Meinung nach ein gutes Foto aus?
—Emotion, composition and of course light – soft, beautiful, painterly light.
-
—Reisen Sie gern?
—Do I ever! Travelling is my favourite pastime. Throughout my career, I have had the immense fortune to photograph weddings near and far. I've also been lucky enough to do a lot of travel photography. You can follow along on my adventures here: www.ellamackphotos.com
-
—Was gefällt Ihnen an Ihrem Beruf am meisten?
—Meeting new people, learning about their love story, documenting the most precious day of their lives.
-
—Welche Details werden häufig übersehen, die ein Fotograf aber erkennt?
—One of the most special things about being a wedding photographer is capturing those intimate, ephemeral moments. The joy of turning these moments into tangible memories as I deliver a wedding album is unparalleled.
-
—Was beeinflusst den Wert eines Fotos? Welche Elemente sind wichtig?
—The value of a photo is the emotion that that image encapsulates.
-
—Wer inspiriert Sie in Ihrem Leben und warum?
—I draw so much inspiration from the great painters of the renaissance era. The way they treated light and shadow it breathtaking and is something that I try to emulate in my own work.
-
—Wie definieren Sie Erfolg? Wie messen Sie ihn?
—I don't care to define success, but I believe it can be measured in contentment.
-
—Was nehmen Sie mit, wenn Sie auf Reisen gehen und warum?
—My cameras and my passport ;).
-
—Wie bilden Sie sich weiter, damit Ihre Bilder noch besser werden?
—I draw my inspiration from all aspects of the world around me. I'm endlessly inspired by the rich world of fine art paintings. Equally, I study the Magnum photography greats and await the World Press Photo Exhibition each year with bated breath. These all tie into my primary inspiration at the centre of my work: you and your love.
