Hoi An, After the Sun Goes Down

Golden Hour to Lantern Light There's a stretch of about ninety minutes in Hoi An that no other city gives you. The sun drops behind the tiled roofs, the yellow walls go warm and soft, and then — one by one — the lanterns come on along the river. The crowds thin out. The heat lifts. And suddenly you're walking through a 400-year-old town lit entirely by silk and candlelight. That's when we shoot couples here. Not posed. Just the two of you walking, laughing, stopping when something catches your eye — and me a few steps behind, catching it.
