When you watch romantic movies about couples who travel half the continent and change their country to be together and then plan the perfect wedding in May, you can often think of something like this happening only on the big screen. However, when I met Anita and Josip I realized that they were the couple who inspired such stories. She leaves her life in Germany, where she grew up to settle down by the blue sea, on the Adriatic in Josip embrace.May is a wonderful month for weddings because spring is in full swing, nature is awake and bursting with colors and scents. That is why I love photo sessions in the countryside because couples are more relaxed then, smiling and cheerful. The photos clearly highlight the wreath of flowers Anita wore on her head, as well as a spring bouquet with roses, peonies and a few olive branches that blended perfectly with the greenery of the grass.This wedding was bursting with tradition and proud roots of the Sinj region, which made my work even more interesting. Namely, the godfather and the groom donned the old traditional Sinj costumes, and the bride, also in the costume, respected the customs and planted an apple on top of the flag. The circuit was also danced, and all the guests were especially delighted with the song of the Klapa Klapa from Muć. The wedding ceremony was in the imposing church of the Miraculous Lady of Sinj. Upon leaving the church, they were showered with rose petals, and they were greeted with shouts and laughter.The celebration itself also lacked laughter, cheer and dancing, and the highlight of the evening was when on stage, suddenly, as the bridegroom's gift to the bride, he appeared with his head and beard – Dražen Zečić and the radiant atmosphere came to a climax. When it is said that some events are memorable, I can say that this wedding is just like this because Anita and Josip all came together to make their wedding – unforgettable.
