Lockdown in Spain, spring 2020

Two very strange months of not being able to leave the apartment, unless it was to go throw out the rubbish, which I did with the kids a few times a day just to let them run outside for a bit. Adults were allowed to go grocery shopping, kids were not allowed to go. Even our communal garden was off limits. As a mother I really felt these kids had to experience something we never had to experience before and I they only had me to make sure they would be ok physically and most importantly mentally. These kids had to mature very quickly to be albe to cope with the situation. I was impressed with how grown up they were at the age of 8. The whole experience made us grow, got us closer, in a way a very tough time will sometimes do to families.
