Time is a great storyteller, but at the same time, it is responsible for stealing our best affective memories. The details he takes out, of course, are unavoidable! (see reflective pun: only a matter of time).That's why documentary family photography is something so special. In it, we don't worry about posing for the camera, with designer clothes, makeup, huge, perfect and organized house... no! (unless it's part of the reality and essence of the family, you know?) But for me, beauty is in the subjectivity, in the routine, in the clean face... just act and do what you would do without him there. Documentary photography is a real-time machine. Therefore, the concern that one must have in a documentary session is to ensure that we transport these memories with truth and love, of life as it is, without filters or aesthetic concerns. Photography is a great treasure, it's a small fragment of a family's biography, which doesn't let us forget the details, spend 10... 20... 30 years, as long as it takes, the details will be there, to be ( re)seen, loved and hailed!
