—Você é fotogénica(o)?
—No.... If I was, I would be in front of the camera.
-
—Como se iniciou na indústria da fotografia?
—I've always been into photography but seen wedding photography as extremely scary as you only ever get one chance and because of that I stayed away from it. However after my own wedding in 2014 I realised that wedding photography can be so much more than the traditional approach and I wanted to be part of that.

—Em sua opinião, quais são os componentes mais importantes para uma boa fotografia?
—Light, composition, moment. Its that easy.
-
—Gosta de viajar?
—Erm, Yeh! My wife and I never visit the same place twice so we make every opportunity to make the most of holidays. We rarely spend time on the beach because most beaches are similar. —O que mais gosta na sua profissão?
—Meeting people and seeing their reaction to the images I have taken. It makes me feel amazing when people look at the back of the camera and can't believe they are in the image.

—O que menos gosta na sua profissão?
—That's a hard one.... Missing the wife at the weekend? I guess I need to say that in case she sees this....!

—O que há de especial para si, no género de fotografia em que se especializou?
—People! Emotion! People! Emotion! Most people have been to a wedding but its so different when its 'your' wedding. Being a wedding photographer, you have a VIP pass into the inter world of the bride and groom and have access to the most special parts of the day which some friends and family aren't able to witness. Whether thats seeing the dad's emotion of seeing his daughter wearing the dress for the first time, helping the bride pluck up the courage to walk into the church or having a front row seat at the church. Wedding are special special days and being able to capture this is a honour.

—Como lida com as críticas?
—It only makes you better. I actually like to hear the honest feedback from my couples as its not about what I think, its all about the bride and groom. Fortunately I haven't been in a position to have any negative criticism, but I do welcome constructive feedback in any aspect of my business.

—Quais deveriam ser os critérios considerados pelo cliente na escolha de um fotógrafo?
—Personality... Do you feel comfortable that the photographer is going to be with you at very special moments in the day and do you feel confident that he/she is going to do an amazing job and deliver images you are going to love forever
