Liliana & Michel’s day at Château La Commanderie in Plaigne (Aude) was exactly that.It was an intimate celebration with only thirty guests — a warm, heartfelt gathering surrounded by nature, music, and golden light. The château itself is one of those rare places that feels timeless — elegant stone walls, soft evening air, and a light that turns every moment into art.The ceremony was deeply personal.
Liliana’s father, a composer, arranged her favorite songs into a custom score for the ceremony. Her mother performed the piano accompaniment, and four French horn players filled the garden with music that seemed to linger in the air. It was pure emotion — sincere, delicate, unforgettable.The bride’s bouquet was created by her mother, while MB Boutique – Fleuriste MOF completed the floral décor with natural, refined arrangements in ivory and blush tones. Every detail felt intentional and personal, blending family warmth with French elegance.The reception was held in the courtyard, styled with soft lighting and beautifully set tables. Guests enjoyed fine local cuisine and Gillardeau oysters served at sunset — a perfect reflection of the region’s spirit and generosity.As the day ended, the light turned golden — my favorite time. We walked through the château gardens, capturing portraits that felt alive with tenderness and calm.
